With the development of China's mobile telecommunications, many mobile value-added businesses have been gradually put into the market. Mobile music business has been developed rapidly in the past years. This paper tries to use knowledge of management to analyze the current status of mobile music business and then to forecast the future trend of it. Firstly, the paper sums up the situation of mobile music business in the United States, South Korea and Japan and then does PEST analysis and SWOT analysis on China market. Secondly, the paper analyzes the characteristics of user's demand and behavior. Thirdly, the paper summarizes CRBT, IVR music-on-demand, WAP music downloading, mobile radio and pivotal part of mobile music business's industrial chain, such as content providers, service providers, operators and manufacturers. Lastly, the writer gives some strategy advices for operators through market analysis on market position, market promotion, business quotation and service content etc.
