From year of 1998 to 2005, the retail trade of China Server experienced seedtime from beginning to bursting. After year of 2005, from bursting stage, demands of Server marketing come into initial autumn with stable demand increasing. Under new period and new requirement, producers and retailers of the Server are facing new challenge. How to face the challenge and catch hold of new develop opportunity, is becoming a big problem, which retailers of Server have to face.As a link of Server supply chain, under various market and supply chain conformity, how to find their own develop direction, under the superior win and the inferior wash out market, how to contribute to the supply chain, is becoming a fatal choice for the enterprises.Through analyzing and researching the series reformation method applied by TOC (Theory of Constraint)theory by IBM and Beijing Futong Dongfang Technology Co., Ltd. in IBM Server supply chain, this article advised reference to domestic Server retail enterprises.In this article, in the first, we simply introduced TOC theory and its steps. Then, we analyzed today's situation of domestic Server marketing. Through analyzing, we concluded two big issues and challenges that Server retailers are facing. At the end, we introduced the reformation method applied by TOC theory by IBM and Beijing Futong Dongfang Technology Co., Ltd. at the Server retail field. During these reformation, Beijing Futong Dongfang basically solved the two big issues mentioned in this article, and achieved mutual benefit in the Server supply chain. During the series reformation, we summarized some experiences and also found some new problems.We advised theory basis and practice guidance on how to face various marketing at the new situation and how to proceed the reformation.
