The Research Of Process Quantitative Management And Process Improvement In Outsource Software Project

Along with the development of Chinese software industry in last few years, particularly the fast growth that the outsource software development business which faces to an overseas market, perplex the software quality of software development's problem to also add more over a long period of time convex appear, the quality related theories which establish the software development process of the organization to improve a software product quality is more and more valued, so study to improve the software item of the software process, control and management quality to have very important realistic meaning.Accordingly, the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Six Sigma Procedure and Software Metrics Method were appearing.Currently, the software industry widespread considers that one way to improve the software production quality is to establish the mature software process, and doing quantitative management well in the whole software developing process, use the process data of gathering in software metrics, after analysis data doing software project management and control, and improve software process further and better, can control the software product quality. Applying quantitative management and software process improvement on the software development reasonable is very decisive. Here, we will apply CMMI theory, PDCA method and SPC Procedure on the software project; studied quantitative management and the process improve in outsource software developing.There introduced CMMI theory and software quantity management basic, attend to the PDCA method, and introduce their quantitative management area and software improvement process. And statement of quantitative management elements, procedure and several SPC method, data metrics and analyze tools. In chapter three, shown how to perform software quantitative management and process improvement by implementing the quantitative management procedure in outsource software project management. At last, there is the summary of the issues that should be avoided in the software quantitative management and the vision in future.
