The National Customs tourism is one of the main methods of modern tourism, Because of its own national culture, geographical uniqueness and the "mystery" which attract a growing number of tourists, therefore, focusing on the unique culture and the basis of market demand for cultural tourism development are of great significance, and the publicity is an indispensable and important element to the development of the national tourism destination. Currently, the means of showing appear diverse trends : in addition to the conventional tourist brochures which offered by the annual tourism trade fairs, posters, postcards and VCD, television advertising packages, travel books, travel magazine, tourism-based television entertainment and information network are major ways. Taking a view of tourism advertising, tourism brochures, Tourism websites and national tourist books, the shooting scene, it is not difficult to find such fact : the image of ethnic women often become special symbols and indicative of tourist behavior , This phenomena is more common in tourism destination advertising of national provinces. The diverse landscape and the multi-ethnic culture are tourism attractions in Guangxi , and tourism development has achieved multiple benefits, thus colorful ethnic culture has become an important part of propaganda.As the largest minority of Guangxi even China, Zhuang ethnic culture is characterized by tourists who come to Guangxi want to know urgently .Moreover, early film, " Sister liu " has been widespread concern. Later, a large real performance "impression ? Sister liu " greatly succeed and the Nanning International Folkloric Song Festival held regularly, which make Zhuang culture flourishing. With the acceleration of the tourism process, some almost obliterated by the urbanization of the cultural have been saved because of tourists concern and the injected of economic power, and some never widely concern by scholars , such as the Black-Clothes Zhuang. More and more scholars pay attention to them since the tourism development and the arrival of more and more tourists .This also provide impetus to further tap and deep studies of Zhuang ethnic culture. Entering Guangxi, understanding Zhuang customs is the major purposes of tourists who travel in Guangxi. Equivalently, Zhuang ethnic iamge more or less appearing in the Guangxi tourism publicity and advertising, and most of images are Zhuang women, crossing all age, particularly young girls, their image are colorful : some slender and beauty, some charming , some graciousness and quiet, some good at singing and dancing, some industrious, while some kindness and so on ; while "Smile", "good at singing and dancing" and the "destinies" are commonly used to describe them; and "Sister liu" image is the most common, which express "song god" and songs Market cultural intention. In this article, through the statistics and analysis of "Guangxi Tourism-line" and the collection of Guangxi tourism brochure of Domestic Tourism Trade Fair booth in 2005 and 2006, combined with "Beauty in Guangxi" VCD which is widely acclaimed, study the characteristics, the function and the improvement measures of Zhuang ethnic female image .Using image of women in general commercial advertising is common, But it is characterized of tourism publicity even national tourism publicity using so many ethnic images ,thinking of its tourism background, Therefore, the research on Zhuang ethnic image of tourism publicity is valuable to studying and analyzing.This article contains six chapters:Chapter One, the introduction, introduces the background, purpose, significance and the method of this study. In addition, it reviews the related literature on this aspect both overseas and at home and at last defines the key words used in the study.Chapter Two is the specific tourism samples part. it sums up and analyzes the photos of "Guangxi Tourism Online" and the brochures of domestic tourism fairs in 2005,2006 .Chapter Three refers to the characteristics of the Zhuang ethnic image, combining "beauty in Guangxi" and tourism publicity .The fourth chapter , also the focus of this study, this part analyze and interpret the function of image of Zhuang ethnic women, with Communications, tourism Anthropology, Tourism psychology and semiotic theoryChapter Five :point out the problem of image of Zhuang ethnic women and other female image portrayal of tourism publicity , made some improvement measures and advice.Chapter Six is the epilogue. The part gives some suggestions the limitation and the future research orientation of this study...
