| Since the reforming and opening, the economical development of our country has entered to a new the stage. Continuously increases has maintained for many years, Total GDP has increased from 362.41 billion RMB at 1978 to 18232.10 billion RMB at2005, and average per person GDP has increased from 379 RMB to 14025 RMB. While the fast growth of the whole country, economic level of different regions unceasingly enlarges, disparities mainly display in eastern,middle and western area.Our government has proposed Strategy to coordinate region economical differenceThe economical disparities, as an objective phenomenon not only exists in national range, but also in each sub- region. This paper has carried on comprehensive analysis on this subject of Hunan Province. At First this paper summarized the relational theory of regional economic disparities, reviewing the economic theories of equilibrium development, the non- balanced development, and harmonious development, then give corresponding narration. In order to analyze the economical difference of Hunan, this paper referred to other scholars' methods, using average per person GDP as the target of a local economic level, then carry on the empirical analysis of the Hunan since 1990s. Through the empirical analysis, we can find that the regional disparities of Hunan enlarge in undulation. Like the character of the whole country, according to the economic level Hunan usually were divided into three areas, eastern, middle and western areas, disparities among this three areas become more and more large, and variations of internal economic disparities in each area is different. In order to formulate the regional economic strategy of next stage, this paper referred to the experiences and lessons of domestic and foreign, and then proposed harmonious developmental strategy: changing situation of Sole growth extremely, promoting each local industry and increasing investment of human capital to backwardness area. |
