Research Of Process Management And Risk Management In Project Based On Critical Chain Method

This graduation design is about project management's new criticalchain method. Firstly we have a deep research on the auto drawing methodof network diagram and critical path method. Then we find critical path didnot consider resource constraint, students' syndrome, Parkinson's law,multitask, and delivery of the delay and so on, which lead the rate of riskdefinitely increase. Aim at this kind of circumstance, the new technique ofthe critical chain method cope with the tide of the times. The critical chainmethod is an advanced technique of critical path, which based on the TOCtheories and is a kind of effectively new item about management technique.TOC's application in process management is intituled as CCM (Criticalchain method). The content of this paper includes estimating task duration,identifying critical chain and setting buffers' size. Furthermore it advances aconcept of work efficiency to get PB, brings forward the condition offeeding buffer to account FB's size and sets secure sign to instantly controlthe risk of project. Not only a method is advanced but also some examplesare given to account for it. It exactly enhanced CCM's application in Processmanagement. We design PMS(project management system)based on abovetheory.The main foundation of this software is drawing the networkdiagram automatically, adjusting the network diagram artificially, seekingthe critical path, seeking critical chain path, controlling the rate of risk withbuffers.
