M New Product Development Projects Critical Chain Management Model

Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is a Method that Theory of Constraint (TOC)appllies to project management , Which has been researched and applied in broad field. As soon as this method was lodged, it had been regarded as a great achievement in the field of project time management since PERT and CPM were invented. While CCPM has got plent of achievement in the process of practice, a lot of famous international large companies gradually apply it and has improved project management.Based on detailed working approach and the thinking process of TOC, this study systematically practice process that apply CCPM to time management of a new product development.This study applies CCPM to M-company 35 high energy effect air-condition's time management of the process of new product development, summarizes the application of CCPM to new product development, Which can be used for a reference of new product development project time management. This study shows CCPM's validity and rationality by comparing CCPM with the traditional PM method. Management applying CCPM, effectively reduces these factors of project delay. It effectively protect project critical chain and duration time by setting project buffer, feeding buffer and resource buffer etc. Apllying Management of buffer we can constitute the plan by scientific method and monitor the status of project effectively.
