Automobile manufacture is a complex system engineering include of enormous materiel supply,manufacture operation and marketing. How to promote the enterprise's capacity and make a rapid response to produce marketable products with lower cost of production ,is a problem placed in each automobile manufacturer. In this paper, a detailed analysis on the theory of constraints and critical chain technology is given, systematic in-depth research of application critical chain technology to solve problems of the automobile manufacture enterprised faced have been done, the purpose is to help automobile manufacturers to find the most advanced scientific management methods to manage the production plan,organization and control, to increase productivity and shorten the production cycle.Systematic analysis of the traditional project progress management methods - Critical Path Method/Program Evaluation and Review Technique (CPM /PERT) and the limitations existing in CPM / PERT;To solve this problem,the basic thinking of the theory of constraints is described,the guidance thinking,principle,application method of the critical chain project management be given a detailed analysis.The superiority of the critical chain project management be proved by comparing between the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) and the traditional CRM / PERT.On the basis of theoretical research, a detailed description of the production planning and control model of the two major automobile manufacturers today's be given in this paper, the challenges of the modern orders production facing and the deficiencies of the existing automobile production management be raised. To solve the existing problems of automobile production, the paper describes how to use the theory of constraints and critical chain project management in production plan and organization management, focuses on the application method of critical chain in the most impact on the progress of two major product areas: parts procurement and production process. This paper attempts to improve the lack of automobile production management, optimize the production plan and control process of the automobile production, promote the management level of China's automobile manufacture to a higher stage by generalizing the thinking.The use of scientific theory and advanced methods of theory of constraints and critical chain project management in production plan and organization,the automobile manufacture process must be optimized, core competitiveness of enterprises must be enhanced, the production mode will stride forward to a modern mode further.
