This thesis uses comprehensively theoretical knowledge about performance management, and has an extensive and detailed analysis of XXD Co.' s original performance evaluation mode with a demonstration method, furthermore, builds a scientific and practical performance management system.The whole thesis consists of four parts. The first* part elaborates fundamental theories of performance management, including its definition, object, significance and necessary basic tasks; introduces five aspects of performance cycle , its core position in human resources and relationships with other aspects; emphasizes core conceptions of performance management; reveals common problems existing in current performance management. The second part briefly introduces XXD Co.' s current situation; analyzes in detail the situation of the original performance evaluation mode; points out problems exist in it. The third part stresses design of performance management system for XXD Co. ; establishes project processes; analyzes profoundly XXD Co.' s requirements for performance management; adjusts the original organizational structure according to the company's strategic object; has a job analysis of specialized posts; presents ideas and principles for performance management system design; applies comprehensively methods such as 360-degree Feedback Method, Key Performance Index, etc; lays out design schemes of performance management system; completes design tasks of key performance index system and performance evaluation tables; emphasizes applications of performance evaluation results to staff compensation design, career development, etc; furthermore, presents assurance measures for performance management system implementation. The last part analyzes and evaluates the performance management system's operational effects in a certain period; concludes achievements acquired in the operational process and helpful enlightenment to the author; meanwhile, points out problems and defects still exists, establishing directions for further improvement.According to XXD Co.' s characteristics and strategic development requirements, this thesis does a few explorations and tries about how to design and improve XXD Co.' s performance management system with the enterprise's own characteristics, which also offers practical reference values to other national privately operated science and technologies enterprises.
