Since 80's in 20 centuries, water conservancy tourism has growed step by step along with the development of the comprehensive operation of water conservancy, become a integral part of tourism gradually, and satisfied the new fashion demands of people.However, there are still many problems in the process of water conservancy tourism exploitatiaon , such as following exploitation in order to pursue the economic benefit of short-term or destroying ecological environment to pursue economic results blindly, identical landscape of water conservancy tourism etc. These phenomenons have restricted the development of water conservancy tourism. In the process of the water conservancy tourism exploitation, how to bring into character, raise the attraction of destination, obtain the harmonious unification of social benefit, economic benefits and ecological benefit, and realize the sustainable development of water conservancy tourism has become an important research subject.The paper is based on the research related to water conservancy tourism at home and abroad.
