| The thesis explain the importance of the logistics transportation been used for international construction project by raising an example by author's actual practice for the whole transportation process of 2 x 710 tons EO reactor for BASF-YPC IPS project, the conclusion is that the logistics transportation is the prior condition and basis for the implementation of project because all material and equipments required and purchased by project will be relied on the safe and timely delivery from origin up to the project designated site.The thesis introduce the main transport manner for international trading cargoes, the function and characteristic of each manner i.e. ocean freight, railway transport, road transport, air freight, container transportation and international multi-model transportation; introduce the different definition of construction and project, relationship and management mode of international construction project.The thesis explain and analyze the operation procedure of international transportation, packing and delivery clauses, documentation requirements, world main transport routes and organization of China international transportation.The thesis analyze the typical characteristic of each process of the logistics transportation, meanwhile, also analyze the relationship and characteristic between logistics and transportation by explanation their definition.The thesis has raised some feasible and rational suggestions for transportation's future utilization in international construction projects i.e. standardization and internationalization of the transportation operation; identify the target of the transportation i.e. to guarantee all construction required material as well as equipments to be safely and timely delivered to project site under most favorable cost; to arrange most appropriate sequence and transport route in accordance with different characteristic of each project in order to implement the most-effective management during whole process. |
