Research On The Key Developing Measures Of Stainless Steel Industry Clusters In Foshan Lanshi

Industry clusters are the inevitable outcome of industry development under the air of modern market economy, and they have been one of the most important resource and embodiment of competitive ability. For clusters policies design, we could learn from previous successful experience, but not direct copy. This dissertation will provide practical plans based on the actual constructional situation of Lanshi Stainless Steel industry and the research on the organizational pattern of industrial clusters to improve regional holistic productivity and international competitive ability of industry clusters.With relatively important impact on the national stainless steel industry and having achieved competitive advantage within specific region, Foshan Lanshi stainless steel industry currently is dominated by private enterprises and has been one of the industries of fastest development in Guangdong, and has shaped initial clusters industry currently. Meanwhile, Lanshi stainless industry has worked out their own industry clusters development policies and direction through special model. However, at the same time, Lanshi stainless steel industry recently is on the cross point of mature stage and adjustment period, the problem they are facing now is how to maintain the speed of development and how to control the conflict between clusters industry development and municipal development, moreover, how to handle the limitation of innovation ability, cost increasing and low profitability.Thus, for the sake of the flourish of the industry clusters, Lanshi stainless industry must break their bottom neck by deeping more into the development of clusters industry and expedite the process of Lanshi new industry development by extending and optimize lanshi stainless industry chain. Based on the surveys and researches on the current situation and the utilization of both domestic and international theoretical achievement of industry clusters, this dissertation put forward three key measures to enhance Foshan Lanshi stainless steel industry in the long term: firstly, the adjustment of industrial structure and improvement of functional structure; secondly, the construction of the platform for the industry technology innovation and the function of innovative organizations; thirdly, the upgrade of clusters brand and regional image. Directed by the idea of innovative development and through the way towards the harmonization of the industry clusters and the municipal construction, Foshan Lanshi stainless steel industry will thoroughly develop itself into the trade, research and machining centers, and provide the successful experience for the development of the nationwide industry clusters.
