Study On Distribution And Production Planning Of Reverse Logistics

With the strengthening of environmental consciousness and the advancement of sustainable development strategy, more and more nations and companies get the competitive advantages to develop sustainably with the utilization of environment-oriented resources and competence under the background of economic globalization. And they also have been becoming focused on reverse logistics, which was neglected and has become more and more important with the governmental legislation, the consumers'attention on environment and the companies'endeavor to obtain more profits.After review of the theories on reverse logistics, this paper has some studies on the three related fields, especially in the fields of reverse distribution system and production planning. During the research of reverse distribution system, we identify the main problems needed to solve and analyze the related factors, classification and the common programming model of reverse logistics network. Then we have some study on the return of the goods, which is one class of reverse logistics, and model on it to get the optimized return strategy to manage it to optimize the supply chain's total profit and the consumers'profit. And we have some analyses on the key factors of inventory planning and their inspiration on the production planning and the scheduling problems of production planning of reverse logistics. And then we lay stress on the manufacturing/remanufacturing planning, which is modeled on the extended-EOQ model and becomes effective under the equalized production style, to optimize the factory's total producing cost with the infinite production cycle. And we present an algorithm to find the optimal manufacturing and remanufacturing cycles.
