Research On The Functional Expansion To Enterprise Capital Management Based On ERP

What capital is to enterprises is that blood to human body. The management of capital plays a crucial part in the management of the enterprise. But due to the comparatively quick development of enterprise, the management of capital inside enterprises is much delayed. And, enterprise information management systems referring to capital do things in their own way. There appear systemic information island which brought to the data being asynchronous. At the same time, enterprises have more and more investment projects. It is very necessary for providing basis for investment decision-making for the leaderships of the enterprise and exchanging of information, tracking projects, finding and locking risk for departments to establish a unified enterprise investment project management and share information resources. And, adding some other functions on the basis of existing enterprise capital management based on ERP, which includes the investment project management, the OA synchronization management, and so on. The new functions could solve problems about scattered project management, asynchronous capital data, and so on.Firstly, this paper analyzed the application status, the development trends and its own system of enterprise funds management based on ERP. Then, it designed business processes about the new functions to enterprise capital management under the premise of the successful implementation of ERP - BPR thinking. Furthermore, it added some other functions on the basis of existing general capital management modules and the development trends of ERP, which include the investment project management, the business workflow management, the OA synchronization management and enterprise internet banking. Such dealing can better fit the business requirement of modern enterprise capital management. However, it proposed some opinions to the system application's problem including systemic information islet, slow processing speed of data and heterogeneous database. At last, a detailed strategy of hazard prevention in implication—the most concerned issue of the ERP users—is given.Through the research of this paper, the author got complete and standardized business processes and framework structure about investment project management. It applied workflow to design concept of OA system to the business process reengineering about enterprise capital management, so the enterprise capital management will be more flexible.
