As a pillar industry of Chinese economy, telecommunication industry has seen a great change in internal pattern since its domestic reform was initiated 15 years ago. With the pace of globalization picking up and the pressure of competition from foreign capital increasing, how to put the basic domestic telecom industry on a track of connoting development and thus leap forward in its management has become a critical problem for study.Based on modern management theories of telecommunication industry, this paper directs its investigation and analysis on the management mode of Weifang Unicom - a branch company of China Unicom chosen an object of study, and reveals the hindrances existing in enterprise development on aspects of management system, enterprise positioning and marketing strategies. Furthermore, this paper also gives suggestions on the directions and its detailed measures for the management mode reform of Weifang Unicom and hence inquires into the development mode of the basic telecom enterprises in China.Chapter 1 is the introduction, it main shows the importance of communication industry, sets forth the background and meanings of this title, makes Weifang subsidiary company as an example to definite the research intention of this title.Chapter 2 is the brief introduction of the world and nation telecommunication industry, through the research and analysis between the internal and external telecommunication industry, infers the problems on the aspects of management of present Weifang subsidiary company, puts forward the problems which should be considered by the telecommunication managers.Chapter 3 is some problems of the managing mode from Weifang Unicom company, through the research instruction of Weifang Unicom company on the aspects of management, reveal the problems on the three aspects of management system, fix position of company and sales methods on the managing mode as well as point out the rectify direction.Chapter 4 is the reform methods of managing mode of Weifang Unicom company, give a series of rectify methods from the policy-makers on the aspects of the managing mode reform of Weifang Unicom company, so as to improve the company's managing mode.Chapter 5 is the conclusion of the main research work for this title, on the basis of it, looking forward to the higher grade of future development and putting forward some questions for the further research.
