Research On Industry-University-Research Institute Alliance

With the coming of economic globalization and information technology development, technology innovation become the power and headspring for enterprise to enhance its competitiveness and to develop rapidly. For enterprise can't take up all the intelligent resources it needs, making technology innovation and mutual development in virtue of the research potency of university and research institute becomes an important approach for enterprise to realize its strategic target. While according to its specific advantage - risk and benefit sharing, alliance turns into a preferred approach for enterprise to cooperate with university and research institute. However, it is a short time after china truly entered into the phase of industry-university-research institute alliance (hereafter, IUR institute alliance); lacking academic and tactic support on understanding and less successful experience to use for reference. Many successful and failure cases of IUR institute alliance revealed that must have a good protection mechanism. Through the establishment of mechanism for the good interests and raising the level of risk management as well as the improvement of the contractual relationship, parties can be effectively and closely linked together . This new mechanism more effectively and fully played complementary strengths of union parties. This thesis was researched baseding in the interest mechanism,risk management and contractual relations of the alliance.This thesis has carried on the research of the IUR cooperation, using the multi-disciplinary theory and method, such as information economics, game theory, management, systematic theory and so on. Firstly, It stated the background, purpose as well as the significance of the study on the IUR institute alliance, and then called up the research conditions of the IUR institute alliance at home and abroad, sumed up the defects of these researches. Based on these, this section gived the content and methods of the study. Secondly, it introduced IUR institute alliance and the development of technological innovation, defined the concept of IUR institute alliance and analized its characteristic. It analized using game theory and value theory. Then it qualitativly analized the various interests element of IUR institute alliance that included the content of the interests, the embodiment and the interests , reasons and principle that established the distribution of benefits system. It also concluded the specific implementation steps of interest coordination mechanisms. Then this thesis focused on the risk management of IUR institute alliance. Through the establishment of a risk decision-making model it assessed the risks of IUR institute alliance using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and proposed risk-control proposals. Also it outlined compact development theory, analized the incentive mechanisms of IUR institute alliance using commissioned-agent model. It also explored optimal contract of IUR institute alliance in the case of various risks and gived the major terms of alliance contract. Finally, through case analysis it obtained major nature of the industry, cooperation mode and the risk factors under different forms for IUR institute alliance.
