In recent years, the significant growth of china economy has influence the commercials and airlines. These have brought the great opportunities for China aviation industry. However, with the monopoly of aircraft market by several lead manufactures and the new comers, the future competition will become more and more competitive. China had to develop big commercial aircraft and aviation industry based on the industry improvement requirement from labor-intense industry to capital and technical intense industry. For the sake of competitive advantage, we have to realize the importance of development strategy and implementation of China big commercial aviation industry.This article consists of six parts. The first part reviews the general characters of commercial aircraft and the category of the aircrafts then states the R&D and markets risk of big commercial aircraft.The second part systemically and thoroughly analysis the development model of aviation industry. Through the analysis of US, European, Russia and Brazil aviation industry, the part concludes the important factors which affected the aviation development in one country and area and provides the experience and lessons to China aviation industry.The third part systematically analysis the external factors and use the EFAS matrix to summarize the external opportunities and threatens to aviation industry development.The fourth part analysis the internal environment of China aviation industry development, concludes the opportunities, threatens, strengths and weakness of China aviation industry by SWOT theory through the results of EFAS and IFAS.The fifth part determines the development strategy of China aviation industry from the results of SWOT and the strategies are target focus, self-innovation, strategic union and the cost advantage.The sixth part provides the implementation strategy and action details of China aviation industry development under the strategy defined in fifth part.The article is trying to provide the methodology and strategy of China aviation development with systematic, qualitative and quantitative method following the basic managerial logic based on information collected from internet, industry research report and idea.
