The Research Of Construction Project Subcontract Management

There are so many problems in project subcontract of construction industry in our country since 2000. It causes great attention of government and professionals. And a series of policies have been debuted, so these problems have been controlled. Then the government hopes to build and standardize project subcontract by long-term mechanism and supervision. During 2006 and 2007,I take part in the study research of construction subcontract management between Tongji University and Construction Management Administration of Pudong New Area in Shanghai. Thus, this article is based on project subcontract in our country; some concrete measures will be raised from the view of government supervision to improve the subcontract market in our country.First of all, the reason of government supervision is analyzed, and the question of "why to supervise" is answered. Then according to the problems, challenges and opportunities of construction industry, a supervision frame is raised, including four aspects, and the question of "what to supervise" is answered.Second, some special measures are raised to solve problems in areas of policy, bidding, credibility system and labor management. And the question of "how to supervise" is answered.Finally, in the view of general construction, some internal management measures are discussed according to the research. And the question of "how to coordinate" is answered.
