The Research On Seamen Resource Synergetic System

With the fast development of the shipping industry, more and more shipping companies realize that seamen management is a very important part in shipping operation. Many companies choose professional seamen management companies to manage and arrange crew. To reduce the cost of human resource is the emphasis of those seaman management companies. Undoubtedly, to cut down on seamen resource has its availability. But only to cut the amount of seamen will brings some unexpectable side-effect. In the supply chain system, the internal subsystem should collaborate to reduce the cost.Synergetic is such a study that researches the system form a new structure by the interaction of subsystems activities. It inspires the author and to apply Synergetics to research seaman resource management comes into being.This paper includes seven chapters.Chapter one introduces the background of seamen resource management and the meaning of study.Chapter two describes the supply chain system of seamen resource.Chapter three carries on the systematics summary about the theory of Synergetics. Chapter four analyzes the characters of seamen resource system.Chapter five is the core section of this paper. With the theory and approaches of Synergetics, the author analyzes the variables of the seaman resource system, makes out the systematics parameter equations and draws some practical conclusions.Chapter six proves the above equations with statistics and case study.The last chapter summarizes the whole paper, and mentions the factors which this paper hasn't considered.
