In the recent 10 years China has become one of the most attractive markets in the world and more and more cross-culture companies come to China. While because of the different culture background the culture conflicts are inevitable. For the Western companies, how to cooperate with their home country's culture, Chinese culture and their corporate culture have become an important subject for managers of cross-culture companies in China. Especially the culture impacts from their own Western world will be more high-lighted. The research on culture conflict and integration of cross-culture management is an essential foundation for successful business of multinational companies in China. Based on introducing the Western culture and Chinese culture, this paper studies the causes of culture conflict, and promotes the cross-culture communication to deal with the culture conflict. By introducing the corporate culture and charicteristics of Western corporate culture and management, the paper discusses the dialectic relationship between culture and management and analyzes culture dimensions impact on cross cultural management. Then it indicates that the cross-cultural companies in China, during the process of conflict and integration, they will melt the advantages of Western culture and Chinese culture into its corporate culture. At last the paper borrows the Confucius Thought of"Harmony"and inspirations to the cultural conflict, and promotes to establish"harmonious" corporate culture in the cross-culture companies. |
