| The structure of equity is one of the most important factors that influence the performance of commercial bank, so is in our country. According to the past research, the property right structure in our country has remarkable influence on commercial bank's performance. At the same time, according to theory of SCP, the structure of market also has prominent influence on firm's performance. The structure of market in banking has obvious characteristic in our country, so the author inference this structure should has some influence on commercial bank's performance. Moreover, the distribute of economical resources,the level of economic development and social division of labor has obvious in-equilibrium on region. This makes the movement and development of Chinese economy display bright regional character. Banking system as an important component of national economy system, the movement and development of it also displays bright regional character. We can conclude the fact from the developing of new joint-stock banks centralize to the east area. Different area has different market condition,environment and different status in financial market, some of which makes the conclusion unscientific from the analysis of the performance of commercial bank in whole country. Therefore, this essay has to validate whether property right structure will influence bank performance in different markets. If it has the influence, we should analyze the function mechanism and the market structure in different region.Tianjin and Zhejiang are both important financial centers in northern China. They all have the intense competition in the banking sector. All national commercial banks are opening branches in these two areas. With financial opening which stipulated along with the WTO provision around the corner, foreign bank will enable banking industry's competition more uncertainly. Based on this, this paper chooses Tianjin and Zhejiang state-owned commercial banks and joint-stock banks as a research object as to analyze the relationship between the performance of commercial bank and market structure and ownership structure by standardized analysis and empirical analysis. |
