The Influence Of The Structure Of Market And Property Rights On The Achievements Of Banking In Our Country

According to theoretical literature, the structures of market and property rights are important factors that influence the achievements of commercial banks. In the discussion of the achievements of banking in our country, the differences of advocate between "market group" and "property rights group" are the focus of the discussion, mounts of empirical results can not achieve to a united result. Because of the feature of China's regional economic operation is imequibrium, we think that the structure of market and environment are different in different regional banking, total test is hardly to access to reliable empirical support. Therefore, it is necessary to get comparative analysis to the achievement of banking in total and region from "property rights" and market structure prospect.Zhejiang is one of the most developed areas in our country where the competition between banks are also the fiercest. Form the "property rights" prospect, the market share of the four major state-owned commercial banks in the whole country is far higher than that in zhejiang province, but the achievement is worse than zhejiang province. Therefore, this essay choose zhejiang province and national state-owner commercial banks and joint-stock banks as comparative study object, through combine positive analyze and normative analyze to discuss the relationship of the structure of market,the structure of property rights and achievement on banking. The results showed that: in zhengjiang province where the banking competition relative fiercer that the structure of market has notable influence on the achievement of banking, and the influence is negative, but the structure of property rights has on obvious influence on the achievement of banking. In the whole country where the banking is relative monopoly, the structure of property rights has notable influence on the achievement of banking, but the structure of market has no obvious influence on the achievement of banking. Form the empirical result ,we can conclude that the influence of the structure of property rights to the achievement of banking is related to the degree of competitive of the market, is depend on the structure of market. At this stage, banking's reform in our country should simultaneously reform the structure of property rights and the structure of market.
