| Since late 1900s, with the fast development of economic globalization, the international capital flow shows new trend and characteristics. As the external condition of foreign direct investment, investment environment has extensive and profound effects on both investing and invested countries, and even on the whole world. Therefore, the evaluation research of investment environment is the reference for investors making right investing decisions and for investment acceptant optimizing their investment environment.Jiangsu province is a developed region in China. It's also one of main foreign investment absorber, which has a close relationship with its good investment environment. From the viewpoint of investment acceptant, this dissertation makes an empirical study on investment environment in Jiangsu, in order to have better knowledge about the status of it. So it helps suit the remedy to the case, and also helps industrial structure adjustment and economic environment optimizing according to the objective of FDI use.This dissertation begins with reviewing of relative studies on investment environment, then it establishes regional evaluation systems based on the rules and standards of evaluation system establishment. After that, using factor analysis and cluster analysis, it makes horizontal comparative analysis on foreign direct investment environment in Jiangsu as well as classifying analysis. The conclusions are as follows: the ranking of foreign direct investment environment in Jiangsu is second among the nine coastal provinces and cities. It has two advantages and two disadvantages. It can also be classified into four types according to the developing stage of investment environment. Based on the above analyses, this dissertation suggests methods and counter measurements on optimizing Jiangsu general and regional investment environment according to the relative characteristics of investment environment. Finally, it prospects the future research direction of this subject. |
