The Evaluation Of Jiangxi Investment Environment Based On Factor Analysis And Gray Clustering Method

Attracting foreign investment has always been a common economic means to improve the regional economy.Regional investment environment is not only the key of investors to make investment decisions,and is necessary for the region to attract foreign investment.Therefore,evaluating the investment environment of a region scientifically and systematically is an important reference,both to the investor who can make the right investment decisions and the region which improving its environment and enhancing the capacity of the capital's according to the evaluation results.As one of the major provinces in central China,when response to the "Rise of Central China" slogan put forward by the state and the related policy,Jiangxi provinces should make a scientific,systematic and comprehensive investment environment evaluation to found the advantages and disadvantages,and compared its gap with other developed provinces,then suit he remedy to the case according to the results of the analysis,attracting foreign investment effectively,improving the economic benefit,accelerating economic development.Firstly,the paper summarizes the theoretical basis of investment environment and evaluation methods of research at home and abroad,according to the composition of the investment environment,investment environment were described the concept,characteristics,classification,constituent elements in detail as well as the existing many kinds of evaluation method.Secondly,the paper analysis the hard and soft investment environment of Jiangxi province from the perspective of qualitative analysis.The hard environment includes three aspects of the status,natural geographical environment,the resources endowment environment and infrastructure construction.The soft environment in Jiangxi province have been analyzed in the economic development environment,policy and rule of law environment and social environment three aspects of the status quo.The analysis result of Jiangxi investment environment is that Jiangxi has advantages in hard environment and disadvantages in soft environment which need to improve and optimization.Moreover,the paper analysis the investment environment of 11 cities in Jiangxi province from quantitative angle by using factor analysis method and grey clustering method.The analysis has two parts:the first part is the ranking the investment environment of Jiangxi province in the national competitiveness by factor analysis.According to the selecting principle of evaluation index we selected the 22 evaluation indexes,and then use SPSS 19.0 software for factor analysis,and extract five common factor evaluation index,calculating the 31 provinces and cities score on five common factor,and ranking order according the score.In the second part,the paper analysis the 11 cities of Jiangxi by grey clustering method and 14 evaluation index are selected.Then built an index system which composed by 1 observation object and 14 indexes.Firstly,calculating the grey relational degree of the grey relational degree.Secondly,according to grey correlation calculating the gray similarity matrix,then using similar matrix to construct "the big trees".Finally,drawing the clustering results.Quantitative analysis of Jiangxi province get the following conclusion.(1)The first main factor of Jiangxi investment environment ranking medium,the second and fourth specific public factor ranks poor,the third factor ranks top.According to the evaluation results found that Jiangxi province has a certain dominant potential advantages in geographical location,natural conditions,resources endowment and the market.But it also has certain disadvantages in the city infrastructure and the information level,economic and financial strength and the education level of scientific research and medical service level.(2)From the perspective of The development stage,the investment environment of 11 cities in Jiangxi province is divided into five types of gradient:the rapid development of high gradient type(Nanchang).Gradient in the transition n to a high gradient type(Ganzhou,Jiujiang).The gradient development imbalance type(Xinyu,Pingxiang,Jingdezhen,Shangrao).Low gradient to the gradient transitional type(Ji'an,Yingtan).The slow development of low gradient type(Yichun,Fuzhou.)According to the different types,the paper summarized and analyze each kind of the characteristics.Finally,according to the twice evaluation analysis results,combined with the characteristics of the investment environment,the five types of investment environment in Jiangxi Province as a whole and 11 prefecture level cities are proposed in line with the objective reality of the optimization strategy.These measures mainly follow raise shortened thought to effectively improve the stability of the investment environment in Jiangxi province.
