The Actuality And Strategy Research On Industrial Design In Hunan Province

"The Eleventh Five-Year Plan"period is critical to the outbreaking and upgrading of Hunan's manufacturing industry, and the improvement of industrial design. With the progress of the constructing strategy of Innovative Hunan, vigorous development of industrial design has become an important measure to speed up the process of new-type industrialization in Hunan. In developed countries, many investigations and researches have been finished in industrial design in enterprises or industrial fields. Therefore, it's necessary to conduct investigations and researches on current status of industrial design in Hunan province.Based on statistical analysis of investigation questionnaires and field interview, this work studied and analyzed the current status of industrial design in Hunan province from inside and outside of the enterprise through selecting a series of industry fields closely connected to industrial design as the main subjects, such as equipment manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, package and light industry. The inside of enterprise mainly consists of enterprise's design resources, design evaluation and design strategy, and etc. The outside part is divided into two parts, design cooperation with design institute and design education in design school of Hunan province.On the basis of the above framework, we studied successful experiences and models in developed countries and regions with well-developing industrial designs, cited knowledge and views relating with economy and management and also referred several actual cases. During the analysis, many factors which is influencing Hunan enterprise industrial design development have been found. Also, strategies and modes that is suitable for Hunan enterprises to develop industrial design put forwards.This work will have a significant meaning for promoting enterprise's self-innovation, improving industry's added value and competitiveness, as well as establishing a famous brand.
