An Analysis On Consumption Behavior Evolvement Of Jiangsu Province: Based On DRC-CGE Model

Since the reform and opening up to the world, Jiangsu economics growth rapidly and steadily, and economic structure been signification changed. But regard consumption behavior, Chinese growth model have great differences. Considering the importance of consumption behavior changes and the espectial status of Jiangsu in China, this paper choose the envolutive of Consumption Behavior Evolvement of Jiangsu Province as the subject investigated to make empirical research.The paper makes a review on consumption behavior and CGE model at first, then the paper profound a Jiangsu DRC-CGE model, and collects the data and model calibration. We want to research the consumption behavior evolvement from 1999 to 2010 under the framework of CGE.The paper comprises of six chapters. Chapter I gives background of the paper, raises problems, and introduces the structure of the paper. Chapter II reviews literatures about both consumption behavior and the general equilibrium methods used to study industrial structure. Chapter III introduces a recursive dynamic general equilibrium model developed for studying Jiangsu consumption behavior, the collection of the data, and the parameter calibration and test of the model. Chapter IV briefs the evolution process of the sector, and simulates the structure change of the sector using the model developed in the previous chapter. Chapter V gives policy suggestions. Chapter VI summarizes the whole paper and predicts orientation of future research.
