Study On Green Building Assessment And Green Construction Assessment

When the sustainable development becomes global stratagem of harmonious development between human being and nature, green buildings has become the inevitable trend of construction industry, and then establishing green building assessment is a crucial problem of developing green buildings. While some foreign developed countries and regions have established a series of comparatively mature green building assessment systems, studies of green building assessment have just begun in China. So, focusing on studies of the green building assessment system, this thesis has developed the theory for its development and improvement in China.In this thesis, several main domestic and foreign green building assessment systems have been analyzed and compared in detail viewed from the object, contents, mechanism and assessment method, obtaining that economic and regional assessment of green building in these systems are deficient, thus resulting in the overall deficiency of the content. On this basis, economic assessment system and regional assessment system of green building are presented and established, meanwhile the meanings of each assessment indicator, assessment content, and assessment method are analyzed and investigated.On the other hand, green construction, as a significant means and tache to implement the strategy of sustainable development in construction industry, has widely been acquainted. However, our country has no specific assessment system which especially aims at green construction by far. Due to lacking certain standards to measure the level of green construction of construction enterprise, it makes an obstacle in popularizing and managing green construction. To assess these management and activities in construction phase systematically and objectively, a whole green construction assessment indicator system was established through reference of the indicators of existing green building assessment system and broad investigation,and corresponding assessment grade criteria of each indicator is developed. Then the weighting of each indicator is awarded through AHP and green construction assessment model is created using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, green construction assessment model is applied to a project, which has proven its practicability. Green construction assessment helps to set standards to evaluate contractor's performance and provide a tool for their self-assessment, which is helpful for contractor's continuous improvement on environmental performance.
