Obviously, the huge gap between regions has become a serious obstacle preventing our socialist modernization strategy target from being realized on due time.How to adopt effective measures, set up sound mechanism and prompt harmonious eastern-western development, so as to control the disparity within the bearable range of mentality, and advance it in the direction of gradual narrowness, is both a major theoretical issue and a major realistic issue that is related to the sustainable and coordinated development and social stability and unity of the peoples. Based on the theory of modernization, this article attempts to analyze the basic characteristic of areas modernization of our country, and elaborate the cause of unbalance development of various areas in our country, as well as the series influence caused by unbalance development the author tries to seek a viable way suitable for China with less cost, thus making an attempt to direct China to eventual realization of coordinated development.In view of the characters of unbalanced development of regional modernization in China, this paper puts forward some advice to realize regional coordinated development from five aspects. Firstly, to establish concerted actions between developed and developing regions. Both eastern and western regions of China should make their development gap between them. Secondly, breaking division of district and forming new economic increasing pole. To establish market mechanism, cooperation mechanism, multi-aid mechanism and supporting mechanism allowing production factor's free. Thirdly, urging citilization's perfect development for that citilization and industrialization is the only way leading to prosperity and modernization. Fourthly, to definite due location of government a market according to the status quo in different regions. Fifthly, to construct new villages and make the cities and villages as a whole.
