Research On The Development Strategy Of Western Mineral Co., LTD

Under market economy conditions, an enterprise is an open system. Only when an enterprise is always aware of the external environment on which its existence and survival depends, understands deeply its internal conditions, pursues the advantage and avoid the disadvantage, develops its strong points and avoid its weak points and formulates its future development strategy can the enterprise establish itself in an invulnerable position in the competition that is becoming more and more furious.This paper firstly analyzes foreign and domestic management theory of business strategy systematically, emphasizing on key of successful factors (KSF) and competitive strategy theory. With PEST analysis method, Porter Five Powers Model and external factor evaluation (EFE) matrix, this paper analyzes the external environment, the industry competition situation and its opportunities and threaten and makes a conclusion that Western Mineral Co., Ltd is in an advantage external condition. Then some experts were invited to investigate and estimate the key successful factors in Western Mineral Co., Ltd.Additionally, this paper analyzes the group internal resource condition and capability system with the internal factor (IFE) matrix. It helps to nail down the company's advantage and disadvantage.On the basis of the above analysis, adopting SWOT analysis method and SPACE matrix analysis, this paper make a conclusion that Western Mineral Co., Ltd should carry on produce development strategy. Meanwhile, using QSPM method to make a feasible analysis in quantity and quality, this paper establishes relative strategy, which is focused on key operation unit and assisted with merger and acquisition. Finally, for executing and controlling these strategies, some specific measurements and advices of Western Mineral Co., Ltd management strategy are carried out.
