With the prick-up of market competition, the enterprises in China have become more and more aware of that the enterprise competitions will be talents competitions in the end. The survival and development, building up its own core competitiveness, depend to the great extent on whether the enterprise can attract, develop and keep its talents or not. As a special group to take up occupations, the new graduates to occupation are employees who have innovative sprits, pursue independence, individuality and diversity, and play vitally important role in enterprise development. The level of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company's (LPC) competitiveness normally depends on the growing speed, quality and quantity of new graduates to occupation. To research on management of career of new graduates to occupation is of great significance to enhance growing speed of new graduates to occupation, improve human resources management level and boost up market competitiveness of LPC.The thesis is taking new graduates to LPC as the research objects, their first five-working-year(early stage of career) in LPC as research time-limit. Based on the career development statistics and classifications of graduates from 1990 on, The thesis employs Assessment Center technology and gives comprehensive analysis to current situation of graduates career planning goals, career development path and career early stage development; and applies comparison & analysis to find out the distance between the their career early stage development situation and LPC's development strategy, and the shortcomings of relevant career management; and use career theory and career planning method to lay out the careerplanning and management program for new graduates to LPC.The thesis, by combining with the career planning and management of new graduates to LPC, explores ideas and methods for career development and management for new graduates to stated-owned enterprises, and puts forward scheme execution measures and guarantee measures.My research on career planning and management of new graduates to stated-owned enterprises will be of referencing value to upgrade human resources management level of state-owned enterprises in transition, and build up their core competitiveness.
