Study On The Structures Of Agriculture Extension System In Yanshi City

To search the structure and the running condition of Yanshi city's agriculture extension system, and find the basic problem existed in it, we constructed a scientific and applicable system in Yanshi city. Then we have a full-scale recognition to the dominated structure of Yanshi city by analyzing the information of agency installation and the six aspects of extension workers (included the composition, sexuality, age, academic career and professional title of extension worker) of agriculture extension. The result was got by using the methods of collecting data, researching on the plot, reading literature, handling data and modeling mathematic.Five normal forms was found existing in the process of agriculture extension, that is project impulse,"order form agriculture"extension, heuristics, service in whole village and transmission service. The status and structure of agriculture extension workers were comprehended, upgrade strategy of agriculture extension was given, and mathematic model of extension workers which can improve the effect of extension was constructed.Status quo of agriculture extension in Yanshi city include: the agency installation of extension was managed by two departments, which was not change the model of planned economy. The composition of agriculture extension workers was not good enough. The number of no-extension workers is more than that of extension people in village. The sexuality composition of extension in city was reasonable, but it is not same in villages. The age composition of extension workers was suitable in city, most of the workers'age was from 40 to 49, but the workers worked in villages in this age region were much less. Most of the extension workers were graduated in college and special middle school, a few of them graduated over university, and there was no post graduate in the whole city. In the aspect of professional title, there was no high grade in the village; most of the extension workers have no professional title.The main shortages were found by the analysis of above-mentioned status quo. Those are: the system and its function of agriculture extension were not perfect; the construction and the diathesis of extension workers were very poor; fond input was not enough which influenced the extension effectiveness seriously; the service and the public welfare characteristics of agriculture extension were not showed up obviously; the effect and the information of the extension system were not reasonable; the examination and estimation system in the procedure of extension work was not perfect; the function of women organization and supply-marketing organization was not educed in the process of agriculture extension.Then we drew a conclusion of agriculture extension in this city and gave upgrade strategies. They are: consummating the multi-level, diversification and informational agriculture extension system; constructing the activated talent people group of agriculture extension system; constructing the extension model which accordance of modern market require; constructing the math model of examination post and the scientific performance evaluation mechanism, executing on duty by competition and perfecting the agriculture extension input mechanism.
