The research divides into six pattern of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses and one comparison(not Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses), based on the difference of planter type,climate background, geological and the soil background in Loess Hilly and Gully Area (Ansai county); Suitable appraisal targets of economical effect and ecology effect of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses were determination through investigation and analysis of six pattern of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses and one comparison;According to investigation of economic indicator and observation of ecology target in Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses area, influence of economic indicator for Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses and comparison, were analyzed using the factor analysis method, as well as each ecology target function which in Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses area the ecological environment restores;Utilized the coordinated development model to carry on the coupling appraisal to it,and revelation coupling relations of economical effect and ecology effect after Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses. Pattern A, C,F must the economical effect be better in six kinds patterns of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses; Analyses to agricultural income, the non-agricultural income and subsidizes of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses in six kind of patterns three aspects to obtain: In the agricultural income pattern A, B, F comparatively are higher than the comparison; In the non- agricultural income pattern C, D, E, F are better to the comparison; In to the subsidy of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses in the dependence pattern F to be smallest.(3)Ecology effect analysis demonstration: All patterns ecology restores the effect and the comparison order is: A>F>B>E>CK>D>C. In climatic factors, six kind of pattern A, B, the F temperature are lower than the comparison in the temperature, In the pattern Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses , pattern F temperature in each kind to be lowest,;In six kinds of the pattern of Returning Farmland into Forest or Grasses reduced to the wind speed are pattern B and the F average which the wind speed is best reduce wind speed 54.5%, Pattern E reduces the wind speed effect most to be bad is -9.1%. In strength of illumination, Pattern A, B, C, D, F all compared to compare to the strength of illumination influence lowly, pattern E is higher than the comparison.(4)Coupling analysis result: pattern A is the best coordinated development type, pattern E is the worst coordinated development type.
