The Application Research Of Balanced Scorecard In The Performance Evaluation Of Bank A

The study focuses on the application of Balanced Scorecard in the performance evaluation of Bank A.Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a new performance evaluation and management tool combining financial and non-financial factors. It puts emphasis on carrying out the strategic objectives of organizations, overcoming the limitations of traditional financial performance evaluation, avoiding the short-term activities in management, and thus promoting the core competitiveness of corporations.Relating theory with practice and applying the practice analysis based on the example of Bank A whose existing performance evaluation puts more emphasis on financial aspects, the text demonstrates the necessity and availability of using the BSC tool to promote and improve the performance evaluation of Bank A.On this basis and according to the theory of Balanced Scorecard, the research changes the strategic objective of Bank A into performance objective and Key Performance Indexes which covers four perspectives, which are financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business processes perspective and staffs' learning and growth perspective. The research decides the proportion of the indexes of balanced scorecard in Bank A through analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and so create a comparatively perfect performance evaluation index system. Meanwhile, it also fully raises the points for attention during the application process of BSC in Bank A. The dissertation offers recommendable methods and operation tools to Bank A for its evaluation improvement, carrying out strategies and the promotion of long-term competitiveness.
