A Study On Cultural Tourism Development Of Historical And Cultural City-Wuwei

Historical city is the precious cultural heritage in our country, usually with the multitudinous scenery spot, the rich cultural historical site, the unique city style, which have laid the solid foundation for tourism's development. Along with the unceasing development of tourism in our country, the value of historical site and scenery spot in historical city is further excavated, and the historical city has become the important traveling center gradually, so it is playing the vital role in the tourism development of our country. As the second batch announcement one of 38 historical cities in our country, Wuwei has deep cultural inside story ,which is the advantageous condition to develop tourism. But as a result of all sorts of historical and reality reasons, Wuwei's tourism still has a bigger disparity compared with the other domestic historical cities. So the subject which this thesis studies is how to further excavate its cultural connotation, and to realize the city resources, the economical, social, cultural and the environment coordinated development. In this process, we must take sustainable development theory as guiding principle. Under such background, in the on-the-spot investigation foundation, the author combined her own specialty, systematically elaborated the historical city Wuwei's traveling sustainable development question.The full text is divided into four chapters: Chapter I: Theory basis about historical city tourism sustainable development. It mainly discussed the theoretical foundation for this study. Through conceptual analysis to explore the basic elements of sustainable development of the Historical city, thus draws the conclusion: it is the Historical city's future development trends to implement the strategy of sustainable tourism development. Chapter II: The analysis about the characteristic elements and landscape features of Wuwei. This chapter has introduced the tourism profiles of Wuwei including features and elements of the culture and natural landscape, and has analyzed the main characteristic of Wuwei traveling landscape as well as the problems of it. All of these have constituted the foundation analysis about the Wuwei tourism sustainable development. ChapterIII: The speculation about the strategic system of Wuwei traveling sustainable development. This part is the key point for the full text. First, the author made the analysis of developing principles. Next, stated the idea that quicken forming five characteristic landscapes with the principles. Finally, develop the cultural tourism product and other tourism products. ChapterIV: The strategy research about Wuwei city tourism sustainable development. Proposed the corresponding countermeasure, included the environmental protection of traveling and the ecology construction, the consummation of tourist facility, the reform of traveling management system, Fosters the traveling talent as well as traveling Image promotion and so on.This thesis is conceived based on the full resources investigation, the massive materials accumulation and on the precise data analysis. First, to ensure the authenticity of the material and the data this article required, the author, on the one hand, to take full advantage of existing results, simultaneously has carried on the on-the-spot investigation to Wuwei and the peripheral region. Next, the author has visited the correlation department many times, and has searched the latest information on internet. By which, the author accumulated a lot of reliable materials for the paper. At the time of writing process, this thesis has adopted the research technique which the theory and the practice unifies, focusing on the feasibility and practices operationally, the goal to do that is to enable this article not only be affluent in the theoretical basis, but has the certain practical significance. It should be stressed here is: Along with the development of people's living standard and scientific cultural accomplishment, tourists more and more demand culture. Having met the travellers' demand to know about different cultures, the cultural travelling has received travellers' attention and become the future hot travelling spot. The famous historical city has the rich cultural resources. The tourism of many famous historical cities, however, remains at the superficial lever of going sightseeing. Moreover, as to the travelling development, the historical culture connotation has not been excavated fully. Since 2002, having sticked to the principle—opening promoting exploiting and exploiting promoting developing, Wuwei has successfully conducted six sessions of Tianma Tavelling Festival, which has brought the new turning point for the tourism development of Wuwei city. This essay analyzed the development of its tavelling resources, and proposed the strategic countermeasures of developing cultural travelling ,with the hope that it will be of benefit to the development of tourism in Wuwei, Gansu Hexi area and even other parts all over the country.
