The Analysis Of The IT Industry's Competitiveness

During the Economic Globalization, As a newly developed industry, Information Technology industry spreader over the whole world with an extremely fast speed. IT industry will promote the entire nation's economic development, as well as pull the other related industries. That's why all the countries in the world attach importance to IT industry.With the coming of knowledge economy, the level of competitiveness of Information Technology industry becomes the main factors that influence the comprehensive competitiveness of a country or an area increasingly, and at the same time the evaluation and the study about the level of industry of High-New Tech industrial competitiveness becomes the focus that scholars pay close attention to. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the level of IT industry industrial competitiveness of Yangzi River Delta, and then find the gap and the shortage, at last put forward advices.By using the relative theory of competitiveness and the relative theory on the development of the IT industry, and combining the characteristics of the IT industry of the country, I build a system on how to evaluate the competitiveness of IT industry. I evaluate the competitiveness of IT industry of Yangzi River Delta. Also I put forward the Countermeasures on how to develop the competitiveness of IT industry of Yangzi River Delta.This paper will be divided into seven chapters. In the first chapter, I will give the background, the study purpose, the study route and method, and the frame of this paper. In the second chapter, this text will study the theories of competitiveness of the abroad and the domestics, and then summarize the present achievements of IT industrial competitiveness and the evaluation methods. In the third chapter, I also study the concepts and the characteristics of the IT industry, analyze the theories on how to develop the IT industry and the market structures on how to affect the industrial competitiveness. Also I expound the papers summarize about the index system of the competitiveness of the IT industry, and the component factors of the competitiveness of IT industry. In the fourth chapter, I will establish an index system on evaluating the competitiveness of the IT industry. Also I expound the theory of the Principal Component Analysis. In this chapter, I will also evaluate and analyze the district competitiveness of the IT industry, by using the index system of the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method.In the fifth chapter, I put forward the restriction factors on developing the IT industry of Yangzi River Delta. In the sixth chapter, I project the Countermeasures on how to advance the competitiveness of the IT industry of Yangzi River Delta. In the seventh chapter, I will draw the conclusion of this paper in this part, and give the summary of the innovation points and the research prospect in this period.
