With the development of economy globalization and competition internationalization, what the enterprise faced today is not a simple demand-supply market; continuously rushed new technology and rapid market change are keys of the current competitive environment. The managers realized the target couldn't be fulfilled by solely work that satisfied customer requirements with quicker response, lower price, and better service. On the contrary, each company should make great efforts on cooperation, and each company should find the suitable partner in its supply chain. The relationships within manufacture firm, customer, and supplier become more and more important. A well maintained supply chain management would reduce the products delivery lead-time, decrease the total cost, and create more value to own company and customers. Integrated supply chain management is gradually treated as the core of the enterprise competition strategy.This thesis started from this background and firstly analyzed the character and contents of supply chain management, expounded the original, current status, major factors and future trend of supply chain management. Then analyzed supply chain management status of S company and declared the major shortage of current supply chain management. Correspondingly discussed from three segments of supply chain management on how to improve company performance: purchasing and supply management section analyzed the transformation of the purchasing process and relative organization in S company, also described the supplier management system plus applied tools; manufacture and operation section discussed production planning strategy and inventory management strategy in S company. The thesis provided Q management tool solving the uncertainty of the shop floor schedule, and value structure analysis tool for inventory control; customer relationship management section discussed the information sharing through the downstream and upstream, also collaborative planning forecasting and replenishment, plus the strategic partnership set-up and logistic contract tool applied in S company. Last section described the challenge for S company in external supply chain integration and dynamical supply chain alliance set-up.
