This thesis firstly introduced the history of PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistor including the sort and the phylogeny of it.Followed this,the theory, the characteristics, the primary parameter and the corresponding criterion of PTC thermistor were introduced. Lastly,the application of PTC thermistor was showed in the form.In the chapter 2, the thesis simply introduced the phylogeny of Shanghai Keter and its products.Then the industry,Shanghai Kerer involved was analysed.Followed this,the upstream and the downstream of Keter's product polymer PTC thermistor were also analysed.Chapter three firstly analysed the external environment of Shanghai Keter by the aid of the PEST.Secondly,the trend of polymer PTC thermistor was analysed and the critical success factors of this industry were investigated.Lastly,this chapter utilized the Five Competence Model to analyse the status of the industry of polymer PTC thermistor.Accordingly,the chances and the threats that Keter will face were analysed and were evaluated using the EFE Matrix.Chapter four introduced polymer PTC thermistor manufacturing in Shanghai Keter and their market position.Subsequently,Keter's activities were studied under the theory of Value Link in order to find the internal strengths and the internal weaknesses.Eventually,Core Competence Theory was applied to match the strengths and the weaknesses with the critical success factors of the industry of PTC thermistor and the IFE Matrix was used to evaluate the internal environment.Chapter five firstly narrated product strategy theory and then gave out the optional strategies of Shanghai Keter under the use of the I-E Matrix and SWOT model.Secondly,these optional strategies were qualitatively analysed from the angle of applicability, feasibility and acceptability and were quantificationally analysed under the use of QSPM model.Lastly,this chapter gave out some suggestions to how to implement the strategies for Shanghai Keter.
