Study On The Classification, Causes, Effects, And Counter Measures Of Trade Friction Against China

The center of the trade friction is shifting unceasingly from the global perspective. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, the trade friction happened among the new rising Germany, the United States and developed Britain, afterward the middle and late 20th, the trade friction focus on Japan. All the examples illustrated that trade friction often gradually emerged in the growing process of the large trading economy. However, the final results of the trade friction often consequently promote the internationalization of the commodity, and the internationalization of the production of the country which is the center of the friction. As a result, it boosts the economic development of the surrounding areas. The trade friction between Japan and the United States was the typical case.At present, China is the center of world trade friction. The number and amount of the trade friction against China is growing progressively. The range of the instrument, industry and country refer to trade friction against China is wider and wider. What's more, the trade friction against China is not only focusing on the micro-field, but also extend to the system, the investment and the macro-field. Thus this paper analyzes the trade friction against China from the dialectic view.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the theoretical basis of the whole paper. After introducing the source of the trade friction theory and policy, and the status quo of the research, the development of foreign trade friction against China was reviewed. The second, third and forth chapter are the main parts of the paper. The second chapter classifies the foreign trade friction against China from three different points of view. They are objected country, instrument and industry. The third chapter analyses the reasons of the foreign trade friction against China from two factors. On the basis, we analyze the economy, foreign trade, and industry competitiveness's impact on foreign trade friction against China by quantitative and qualitative method, and we find out that the increasing export and economy are the important causes of foreign trade friction against China. The fourth chapter analyzes the positive, negative, and trade diversion effects of foreign trade friction against China. On the one hand, foreign trade friction against China makes the problems in the development of economy show out, and accelerates the Chinese enterprises'internationalization; on the other hand, foreign trade friction against China causes the increase of foreign trade transaction cost, and brings the friction in many fields and industries. In the last part of paper, there are some advices for government and enterprises to deal with the foreign trade friction more effectively.
