| This thesis started with an introduction of Malaysia past 50 years history after independence , and the briefing of geography and economy of MalaysiaThe announcement of five Economic Development Region individually by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and some other opinion regarding this subject from the ground have been raised .In the 2nd main section of chapters , more detail status regarding Iskandar Development Region, IDR and State of Johor have been covered . And explained why the Johor state is one of the priority area which Singapore based companies always considered to invest in the past , even there are few unsolved matters between the two nations .In next 3 main sections, the basis principle of Strategic Management : Analysis, Positioning & Selection, Execution have been applied to explain how the procedure of Singapore based companies who are going to invest in IDR .Finally, we draw a conclusion that both Singapore government and private sector shall be giving fully support towards the success of IDR project , in order to achieve WIN-WIN situation even under some shortcoming of Malaysia policies . |
