Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.is a joint venture invested by Siemens(China)Co.,Ltd.specializing in transformer production in China.It has been operating in China for more than 30 years.With the rapid development of China's economy and energy industry,Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.has made considerable progress.began to vigorously promote the development of low-carbon economy in 2015,among which energy reform is an important issue in the 13 th Five-Year Plan.Low-carbon economy is the first to bear the brunt of the construction of modern energy system.Power-driven terrestrial coal,oil and other energy sources have become the main direction of new energy construction.So our country began to increase investment in smart grid construction,and continuously promote the upgrading and transformation of power grid.As a necessary power equipment in power output activities,the market demand is also increasing because of the continuous advancement of power grid transformation projects.The state's promotion of power grid reform has brought a development opportunity to transformer enterprises.China's high-end transformer market is mainly occupied by foreign companies,but although Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.is also a well-known foreign company,its market share is not ideal.In the middle and low-end market,it is also difficult to face more competition from domestic transformer manufacturers.Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.should make full use of this opportunity for strategic adjustment.This paper,based on the domestic and foreign environment and the specific development law of transformer industry,takes the value chain as the framework to analyze the current situation and the internal and external environment of Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.,discusses the strategic objectives of Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.,and formulates specific strategic implementation methods for achieving the strategic objectives,and formulates safeguard plans and battles.A slightly implemented evaluation method.This paper holds that the next strategy of Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.should focus on cultivating its own core competitiveness,enlarging its own advantages and increasing consideration of market demand.In the current market demand environment,Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.should expand the business of impregnated distribution transformer,which is more in line with the concept of low-carbon energy-saving and high reliability of social development.If Guangzhou Siemens Transformer Co.,Ltd.can seize these opportunities,the market competitiveness will continue to improve.For quite a long time,it can be in the leading position in the transformer industry of our country.
