Power coal blending can adjust quality parameters of coal, improving combustion efficiency of coal, reducing emission of pollutants (SO2, soot) of coal combustion, decreasing environmental pollution, so it is the widely applied clean coal technology in China at present. In last years, a lot of achievements were made on coal blending technology of Huolinhe Opencut Coal Industry Corp. Ltd., but there are still many problems on the technology of coal blending. Especially, current coal blending technology in the corporation only bases on requests of calorific value and moisture of coal, but not comprehensively consider other factors of coal index, which brings about quality of coal blending can't meet the demands of clients completely. In the paper, based on the existing mathematical model of power coal blending and the practical circs of the corporation, by considering index of coal blending such as volatile matter, calorific value, ash, moisture, sulfur, etc., mathematical model is founded in power coal blending. Later, on the basis of datum of the corporation on one day, using new researched mathematical model of power coal blending to calculate, which works out the intraday optimization scheme of power coal blending. And based on the practical circs, through artificial modification for optimization scheme, accordingly, the feasible optimization scheme is founded for power coal blending. For assuring effective operation and getting the even, steady production of power coal blending, the paper advances the schemes of the management and control, including the control of coal blending and sampling. Finally, the author analyzes economic benefit and social benefit to further prove the applied value and the applied meaning of power coal blending technology.
