The Research Of Income Gap Situation And Its Impact Factors Of The Residents In Jiangsu Province

With the deepening of economic reform and the Party's policies to enrich the people for the further implementation, the incomes of residents in Jiangsu Province have been increasing year by year, as well as the rising of living standards. Meanwhile, the income gap widening problem is increasingly conspicuous, has became the key issue of the area of income distribution and economic development. The existence of an income gap is to some extent inevitable, but if the gap is too big to control, not only it will affect the improvement of the living standards of farmers, but also affect social stability, and the national economy will also be impacted. Therefore, how to correctly grasp and understanding of the income of residents in Jiangsu Province of the discrepancy degree, under the principle of "giving priority to efficiency with due consideration to fairness", effectively in regulating income distribution unreasonable factors in the revenue generated by differences is of great significance on the comprehensive construction of a well-off Jiangsu social objectives.In this paper, the research of the income gap between residents in Jiangsu Province is mainly divided into five sections: first, using GE decomposition calculation method for the research of income gap between urban and rural residents, quantitatively shows that the income gap mainly concentrated in the urban and rural disparities, while the proportion of the income gap in inner-urban and inner-rural areas are small; Secondly, using the cluster analysis which belongs to multivariate statistical analysis method to study the income gap between regions in Jiangsu Province, the result shows that the residents' income level of south Jiangsu ahead that of north Jiangsu for a long time; then using Jiangsu residents' industrial income panel data to make charts, straightly shows that high-income job in Jiangsu concentrates in a number of market restrictions access due to government such as administrative monopoly industries and other industries like information technology,financial services , the agricultural sector is always the low-income sector; Thirdly, calculating the overall Gini coefficient of Jiangsu Province, shows that the Gini Coefficient has nearly reach the warning line 0 .4, apparently the people's income gap is widening and no easing trend; Then this article provides an overview of the changes of Chinese people's income, doing a simple comparison with Jiangsu Province, then with the consistent conclusions we can see the status of Jiangsu income gap in China.Finally, this article analyzes the mainly impact factors of Jiangsu income gap, from the perspective of economic development, macroeconomic factors, the government policy. Then establishes a linear model, based on which summed up policy proposals to ease the income gap in Jiangsu Province.
