Research On Purchasing Management Of M Company In PCB Industry

Electronic manufacturing industry has already turned into a rapidly growing industry under fierce competition in a time with great development of globalization and technology and even more various custom requests. In this case, traditional management ideas are out-of-date while the role of procurement is changed from an assistant function to a key function, which attracts much attention of the management. The important of procurement administration for a company is gradually acknowledged by theorists and enterprisers. Therefore, how to improve the procurement administration in order to get it more adaptable to the severe competition situation and strengthen the competence of a company gradually draws research attention recently.The author studies on the M company of PCB industry, and put forward the method and suggestion to improve the purchasing management of M company in theory and practice. First, the paper introduces the basic theory of purchasing management under supply chain management. Then the current status and weakness of purchasing management in M company is introduced. Finally, the vendor management and cost management control as the key points are discussed. About the vendor management, the author thinks that the main point of M company is to normalize the evaluation of the new suppliers, and intensify the advance evaluation of the existential suppliers, so that the supply chain can develop in the right direction and M company can set up well supply and demand relationship with the excellent suppliers. In the purchasing cost, the author thinks that M company needs to find a scientific method, such as using optimization of suppliers association and supply and demand cooperation relationship, to overcome the purchasing cost confinement of PCB industry. With scientific centralization, localization, outer pack and cost budget, JIT purchasing management, the most excellent results can be abstained in the purchasing cost management.
