Research On Supply Chain Inventory Control Based On Information Technology

With the development of information technology, the competition among enterprises has become the competition among their supply chains. One of the key problems, which need to be solved, is the proper inventory control in supply chain management.In this thesis supply chain management and inventory control methods have been explored. The impact of the information technology on supply chain management has been investigated. It was found that the main problems in supply chain management and inventory control are due to bullwhip effects and some uncertain elements.Based on the current situation of an enterprise, the inventory of the supply chain was optimized with inventory control methods and information technology: Materials are controlled based on ABC classification; models of multi-level inventory and safe stock are established; just-in-time method is applied in the purchasing flow; and the material of the camshaft is effectively controlled by JMI (Joint Management of Inventory).Finally, based on the enterprise operating system and supply chain relationship, the inventory control information system of supply chain has been established with the enterprise existing information data to reduce the cost of inventory.
