Speculation On Thinking Strategy Training For Creative Integration Of Market Information During Deciding Process

The greatest challenge the investors have to encounter in such an information age is that it is difficult to distinguish useful and useless information in a large amount of clues, and to rearrange it into a profitable and unique new plan. The creative information integration in this research means how to distinguish the useful information from a great deal of redundant information, and to integrate it into a creative investment scheme which is quite profitable and excellent. This research concludes that the creative integration of market information is the core of consideration of decision.It could be drawn from the former researches that the researchers have done some speculations on the consideration of decision, the solving process of creative problems and information capability separately. But there isn't sufficient research on the three fields comprehensively. Furthermore, the research on the creative integrating capability of information involves the three fields mentioned above-the consideration of decision, the solving process of creative problems and information capability. It is a cross-domain creative research.Unlike the previous psychological researches of decision which were performed in the scene of simple questions, this research tries to recover the reality, imitating the real circumstance with complicate questions and simulating the real problems in current market with redundant information.This research mentions the influence of thinking strategy training on the makers of investment schemes or the decision makers' integrating capability of market information. In the field of thinking training, the influence on junior or primary students is much more than any other field, while the research on thinking strategy training based on the creative integration of market information supplies an opportunity for the high-level education of creative information integration. In this research, the researcher uses both methodologies of individual test and group test mainly, accompanied by the technologies of interview and think-aloud protocols, to explore the thinking strategy training based on creative integration of market information with two researches in two aspects:The Research I is the preparatory period of following experiments. The testees are 60 university students sampled in Southwest University. Among the testees, the one who can hold a correct investing direction was called "expert", and the others were "novices"; they were tested individually. The aim of this test is to extract some valuable thinking strategies for the creative integration of market information in this research from the different thinking strategies of "experts" and "novices". It can be concluded from the qualitative analysis on the testees' oral reports about the thinking strategies that, when the testees were confronting with a large amount of redundant information, in order to distinguish the crucial information and redundant information, and to integrate the distinguished crucial information successfully, a good testee would classify the complex information generally, to reduce the complexity of information grandly and alleviate the burden of brain when it was integrating information effectively. What's more, the result of experiment shows that it is different between the testees' thinking strategies in the research paradigm in Stage 1, which is to design an investment scheme according to all the given market information, and in the research paradigm in Stage 2, which is to be given a discussing scheme, reflect it with the information and advance a better and more creative new plan finally. To be a successful testee, he must clarify his target at the very beginning, and then classify the information, try to design the initial investment scheme, integrate the information except the unnecessary or redundant indexes, advance a new investment scheme followed by reflection, and decide the plan finally. The results of Research I show that (1) the creative integration of market information is a difficult experimental task, which is helpful to explore the possible thinking diversity and strategical deficiency; (2) the creative integration of market information couldn't be isolated from the aims, because the process of decision must be improved in a particular aim gradually, while the final target is to realize it; (3) the creative integration of market information needs to consider the overall materials, and achieve a unique and creative decision at last.The Research II discussed the influences of the training of the creative integration of market information and the training of meta-cognition on the improvement of creative integrating capability, and the influences of the testees' creative integrating capability and thinking strategy training in the paradigms of Stage 1 and Stage 2 on the testees' integrating capability of market information based on Research I. In the group test on 232 undergraduate students, they were trained with the extracted thinking strategies from Research I, by using the three problems in The Test of Creative Integration of Market Information, which was edited autonomously, and the other three were treated as the post-training problems. The research shows that: (1) training of meta-cognition has a promoting effect to improve the creative integrating capability of market information by thinking strategy training, and the thinking strategy training in the field of information integration has the effect of "strategical knowledge transfer"; (2) the investor who has a high creative integrating capability of market information could make a profound speculation on his own investment scheme by his effective thinking strategies; (3) because of the thought disturbance, people are not skilled to use some thinking strategy to advance an improved investment plan after they formed one by instinct.
