Since 1980s, some companies began to be criticized "to get profits by squeezing worker's blood and sweat". Then more and more countries started to refer to the social accountability of enterprises, especially including that they should obey to the international labor standards. Till the middle of 1990s, this trend developed into a famous activity of social accountability for enterprises. And the international labor standards also began to be related to the international trade between different countries. Those initiators intended to integrate the international labor standards into international trade, and use these standards to criticize that some developing countries severely violate the international labor standards and encroach on people' s eligible right. Certainly, those countries being criticized are heavily influenced on international trade volume and even international trade direction.China, as a big country relying on international trade, owns a large amount of cheap labors and mainly exports labor-intensive products to other countries. Therefore, our country inevitably is criticized on this and even is ordered to accept audit on international labor standards. So international labor standards being related to international trade has developed into a surely certain trend. This trend, of course, will bring in some influences on China's international trade. And these influences will enlarge gradually as the international labor standards become more and more popular in China. This paper aims to analyze the influences brought to China's international trade by the international standards. The paper will also base on the former analysis to further analyze the long-term influences brought to China's international trade by international labor standards. In addition, the paper will finally point out the strategies that our government and enterprise should use to encounter the influence brought by the international labor standards. The paper will be divided into four parts. The fist part will briefly introduce the origin and contents of international standards, and also introduce how the member countries of International Labor Organization ratify and implement the international labor standards. Furthermore, the paper will also introduce the development of international labor standards, especially the SA80000 standards, including its classification and contents. Based on that, the paper will also rationally assess the international labor standards and SA80000 standards. The second part of the paper will mainly introduce the current condition of the labor standards' implementation in China. The paper will also compare the China's current labor standards condition with the international labor standards. The paper will analyze this from two aspects, that is, the implementation of China's labor law on the international labor standards and the implementation of the enterprises in our countries on the international labor standards. The third part of the paper is the most important part which will analyze international labor standards' influence on China's international trade. This analysis will be developed into two aspects. First, the paper will generalize what influences the international labor standards have brought to China's international trade in recent years. And the author holds that these influences are the short-term ones. Moreover, the paper maintains that general and overall implementation of international labor standards in China has become a certain trend and this trend will bring China's international trade a long-term influence. And based on that this sub-part will generally analyze which of the positive and negative influence is larger. The last part of the paper will point out the relative strategies that our government and enterprise should do based the former analysis.
