Under the background of social and economic development and growing population flowability of the whole country, in the reason of geographic location and economic status, a lot of immigrant was attracted by the Yangzhou City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The immigrant became an important power that promoted the development of the Yangzhou City. This article studies on what the immigrant of Yangzhou City did for the development of Yangzhou City in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
