Entrepreneurial intention is a key factor when an entrepreneur decides to start a business. Whether stakeholders support or not are important in the entrepreneurs'decision process. This study uses empirical analysis and finds these factors-investor, key employee, supplier, distributor and government section have remarkable influence to entrepreneurial intentions. This analysis suggests that these stakeholders'support have positive impact on entrepreneurial intentions to exploit opportunity. Further analysis finds that the positive impact of greater investor/key employee /government section support on entrepreneurial intentions is magnified when the new business is perceived as having a long lead time. But the positive impact of greater supplier/distributor support on entrepreneurial intentions isn't magnified even the new business is perceived as having a long lead time. This study basically supports the study of Choi and Shepherd. |
