The application of Performance Management which is an important guarantee of the sustainable development of enterprises is greatly significant to standardize the performance output process of enterprise. The traditional performance assessment, which stressed outcome control and neglected process control instead, has been unable to meet the requirements of modern management. Therefore, more and more enterprises are seeking new performance assessment methods. Compared with the traditional performance assessment methods, goal-oriented performance assessment reflects staff's comprehensive performance from different perspectives through the innovation of assessment methods and the results of performance evaluation turns out to be more just, real, objective and accurate , which ,to a great extent, avoids many disadvantages caused by the traditional performance assessment.This paper takes NH Company as example and analyzes the reasons why the subjective understanding, the technical system and the organizational environment doesn't work well. According to the main problems of the present evaluation system, this paper based on objective management, gives advice on how to improve performance assessment process, goal-setting, and evaluation index system. Through the performance improvement Based on MBO , NH Company makes it a success that rights and responsibilities go side by side, that assessment indicators are clear, and that quantifiable indicators and non-quantifiable indicators have their corresponding treatment and evaluation standards. What's more, NH Company establishes a sound performance assessment system and ends up with some measures and problems which should be paid attention to during the implementation of the system.Finally, this paper draws the conclusion that NH company's performance assessment system is the PDCA systems integrated with MBO and the complete PDCA cycle also ensures the efficiency and the accuracy of the performance evaluation and achieves its goals while improving the staff's ability. Through the research on the NH company's implementation of MBO-oriented performance assessment, this paper is to provide an idea for relevant enterprises to improve their performance assessment.
