Mobile communications operator are facing intense competition and consumer leaving rate is rising. Just because of this, group clients market competition is becoming more and more violent, and almost all the communications operators have recognized the importance of group and industrial clients. However, it is the emphasis of communications to grasp the strategic clients group and promote its steady growth.In recent years, China Mobile has undertaken thorough research in group clients including strategy, products, marketing, service, competition, etc. However, there are many problem in group clients management in city branch companies. In these aspects, the author thinks the past research was mainly from clients, such as clients demand, service, promotion, etc., and not from internal management. In fact, standardized and efficient operation process and management is as same as important. Even perfect marketing strategies take effect difficultly without efficient internal management mechanism. The thesis studies intensely group clients management system taking Xi'an Mobile as example, and it concludes that communications operators should upgrade the present manaement system from three aspects such as management model, process and supporting.The thesis studies the clients management system of Xi'an Mobile based on process and performance appraisal theories. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the present situation and problems of group clients management, and systematically studies the characteristics of group clients and internal and external environment of group clients development of Xi'an Mobile. Secondly, the thesis puts forward to group clients management system improvement ideas and strategies. Lastly, the thesis also puts forward to some specific and feasible programs in the aspects of organizational structure, management model, important process optimization, staff performance appraisal. These ideas and programs take some innovation in Xi'an Mobile and even in China mobile communications industry, and also can be used for reference to the relevant industries in group clients management.
